P+P Architects Takes Part in Building Safety Gateway 2 Round Table

P+P Architects was pleased to take part in a recent industry round table organised by ADG, bringing together architects, consultants, manufacturers and other construction professionals to discuss how to create a more effective and robust Gateway 2 submission for Higher Risk Buildings (HRBs).

The “Building a Bulletproof Gateway 2 Submission” event, held in London, provided an opportunity for industry professionals to share practical experience, lessons learned and strategies for navigating the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) Gateway 2 approval process.

Discussions focused on some of the key challenges currently affecting Gateway 2 submissions, including the quality and consistency of information, coordination between project teams, product data, design interfaces and the importance of submitting clear, comprehensive and well-coordinated documentation.

The round table also explored ways the industry and the BSR can work towards improving the Gateway 2 process, reducing delays and increasing the likelihood of applications being approved first time.

At P+P Architects, we have extensive experience working on Higher Risk Buildings and BSR Gateway 2 submissions, and we believe that early coordination, detailed design information and a clear understanding of the Building Safety Act requirements are essential to achieving a successful submission.

We were pleased to contribute to the discussion and share our experience alongside other professionals working across the Higher Risk Building sector.
