House Extension, Peckham, London

The original house had a poor built rear extension containing a laundry and bathroom area blocking any connection and light contribution from the rear garden area toward the kitchen/living area.

A pitched roof extension was preferred to flat roof as it emphasises the   space and provides the house with a new space with a different scale perception.

The rear frame offers a perfect picture of the garden space and the choice of same floor finish for the living  and patio area, offer an uninterrupted continuity between the kitchen dining area and the garden.
