Garden Room Extension

The side extension provides a flexible space with removable partitions between living and office space. Each space flows uninterruptedly into the other following the daily changing routine.

Two generous openings facing East and West allow the extension to be crossed by direct sun light on the entire length at the sunrise and sunset, reaching the outdoor garden area.

Connections with the existing house are directly facing the south openings providing a view to the garden from the inner area of the existing house.

External material as timber fence slats, London Smead dean brick, concrete have been used inside, to recreate an outdoor feeling, enhanced by the internal planting.

The richness of the interior space derives from the subtle contrast of textures and finishes, as the rustic brick wall, the polish concrete floor and soft timber.
