House Refurbishment, Lambeth, London

The interior design project has completely revamped the existing hallway, turning it into a warm and visually appealing space through the incorporation of timber slats.

These slats serve a dual purpose—they act as a chic coat hanger area and provide an elegant cladding for the refurbished cloakroom. This creative use of timber not only introduces a touch of warmth to the entrance but also fosters a more inviting atmosphere for visitors.

The richness of the interior space is achieved by intentionally playing with textures and finishes. The interplay of various materials enhances visual appeal, adding a layer of sophistication to the overall design. The timber slats, with their natural grain and warm tones, create a cozy and welcoming ambiance.

In the guest toilet, a minimalist approach takes center stage, emphasizing spaciousness and simplicity. Opting for large tiles in a neutral color palette defines the space with understated elegance. This deliberate choice not only promotes a modern aesthetic but also enhances the sense of continuity and flow within the interior.

To amplify the brightness and airiness, a general white wash paving has been seamlessly integrated throughout the project. This strategic use of light-colored flooring not only reflects natural light but also visually expands the space, establishing an open and inviting atmosphere for this unique interior design.
