Glazing roof in Kensington and Chelsea, London

The proposed glazed roof, for a loft in Queen’s Gate Conservation Area in Kensington, aims to add an outdoor feeling to the living area.

The proposal increased the internal headroom from 2.3m to 2.8m and a curved soft inner edges are creating a smooth soft transition between light and shadow.

The frameless glass offers a clear view out and therefore providing an uncompromised connection with the surrounding sky.
